Our last two days here in Kampala have been filled with many meetings and we continue to see the great need, solid business opportunities and yet many challenges to overcome. One of the highlights was a discussion with three men we know well concerning some opportunities in several areas that are of great interest to us, mainly aseptic packaging, honey and poultry and fish farming. None of the solutions will be easy to implement but we feel strongly there is good potential in each area and these are good guys to be working with. We also spent quite a bit of time with Innocent and Alex. These are the two young men leading our amaranth project and it is wonderful to see their growth as leaders and also hear their passion to influence the lives of the people with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. They both have a great heart to help the farmers as well as doing their best to make the project a business success. Many other meetings and connections help assure us that God has put us here with a distinct purpose and we have much work to do ahead of us to keep living out our goal of sharing the Gospel through business.
