PacMoore is getting involved with a wonderful organization called Stability First in the local community of our Mooresville, Indiana location. Stability First is a non-profit organization which works in multiple ways to alleviate poverty. It provides transitional housing, a women’s shelter and many other services to assist low income families in increasing their financial stability and self-sufficiency.
Stability First
The programs of Stability First include The Pike Street Bridge, The Lynay Center and the The Magdalene House. The Pike Street Bridge provides residents safe, transitional housing to help them get established and prepared to attain independent sustainable housing upon exiting the program. The LYNAY Center provides job and financial coaching and high school equivalency programs. The Magdalene House is a women’s shelter created to meet the needs of women who do not qualify or fit the criteria for other shelters in the area.
We are excited to participate in the first-ever annual “Step into Stability – Fitness on the Square” event on June 17 hosted by Stability First to raise money for their programs.

In the words of PacMoore’s President and Owner Bill Moore, “Stability First has done an amazing job of putting together great programs and top talent to help these young ladies transform their lives.” Alongside many PacMoore employees, their families and friends, Bill Moore and his family will join in the 5K race as well! PacMoore is sponsoring several 6 person teams to run in the 5K in support of Stability First.
