We’re happy to announce that both of PacMoore’s Indiana facilities are now approved to export dairy to European Union countries! It took us two years to get to this level, and it’s just another step in positioning our company as a leader in international contract manufacturing.
In the United States, food safety criteria are strict for milk products or shelf-stable milk components. EU requirements for exported dairy products are slightly different, and work as umbrella regulations for all the EU countries. In addition to these, each EU country has their own set of laws and regulations that may be different from others. For example, some countries require that the product can be traced back to the cows or farm from which the milk was produced.
The PacMoore Mooresville facility has been approved to ship both Grade A and non-Grade A dry dairy powders to all EU countries. Our Hammond location is approved for non-Grade A dry dairy powders, but not yet for Grade A.
The entire PacMoore team will remain committed to quality and safety in its products and processes. Not only are we the only Indiana manufacturer approved to process and ship Grade A dry dairy products, but we also have food handling certifications for kosher, organic, gluten-free and halal food products. We have produced and shipped products (not just dairy) to Canada, Mexico, Morroco and Japan, and currently have an opportunity to begin exporting to Germany.
At PacMoore, we offer a wide range of expert contract manufacturing services, including dry blending, spray drying, consumer packaging, re-packing, sifting and more. To learn more about PacMoore’s services and food quality certifications, visit www.PacMoore.com.
